Will and Way

We've all heard: Where there is a Will, there is a Way. There have been times I've

stubbornly recited this mantra to myself at a very expensive cost- my health.

Over the years I've started to see that WILL and WAY don't always see eye to eye because no matter how much we try to manage our 1) motivation (or lack their of at times), 2) schedules, 3) obligations (etc)... there are some variables (injuries, health conditions, emotional obstacles) that we don't and can't account for because they surface at the most unwanted times and unexpected ways leaving us with tears (the breaks kind and liquid kind).

Lately I've been asking myself--why am I trying so hard to FIND A WAY to do certain things?

Michael Singer popped up on my Audible playlist and his words struck a cord: “No matter who we are, life is going to put us through the changes we need to go through. The question is: Are we willing to use this force for our transformation? I saw that even very intense situations don't have to leave psychological (or physical) scars, if we are willing to process our changes at a deeper level.”

Now I'm somewhere between managing "Where there is a will, there is a way" and " Let Go, Let it flow"...great😐.

Maybe life is just giving me the opportunity to give my WILL a rest and let the WAY take the lead for a while. My instinct will be to continue to set things into motion as I always have, but maybe if I step back from WILLING things into existence I'll be able to see the course I could be training on that may lead me towards my goals or even greater ones.

🍻 Cheers to Will for all the hard work and uphill battles, upstream swims the last 2 decades (at least)....

Double 🍻 🍻 cheers to WAY, who's jumping into the starting lineup! Let's see what you're made of.

Good luck toggling all the WILLS, WAYS, and sweatiness in between 😅!

We are all so different in our ways and approaches to tackling challenges.

I would love to hear how you navigate WILL and WAY.
